Doh.  I am a 3L.  I am not supposed to attend classes.  So now you’re telling me tomorrow I need to actually go to the law school to learn?  This is crazy!  And one class assigned us 90 pages of reading for day 1.  Rockin’.  I’m really looking forward to that.  Woo.  Woo.  Sigh.

Also, starting tomorrow, the 2Ls will no longer be wearing suits, which means I will no longer know who’s a 2L and who’s a 1L.  Consider this a formal request for all you 2Ls to continue wearing your suits so I can tell you all apart.  Alternatively, it’d be great if all 1Ls could wear beanies.  That is all.

That’s funny.  I think the last time I wrote “FREE!!” as a post, it was because I was finally done with finals and ready to start my summer / the summer associate free train.  Today I write it because I am done being a summer and ready to get back to Charlottesville to begin my 3L year.  Don’t get me wrong…the events, the parties, the after-parties, and the countless free lunches (I probably averaged…four a week?  Three and a half at least.)…that’s all gravy.  But there’s only so much a body can take.  And now, I am ready to return to school to go back to being starved and bored.  Except this year, there will be many more bar reviews and golf outings.  It’s gonna be awesome.

Sunday.  Charlottesville.  Get ready.

Hi.  I went to Cville today to move apartments.  Pretty exciting stuff, huh?  Yeah, I thought so.

Well, in addition to my Wii, which I, perhaps foolishly, bought this summer,  I now have a 40-inch TV with HD in my Charlottesville apartment!  See, now we’re talking exciting stuff!  My brother gave it to me on loan for a year.  Talk about the best brother ever.  I am probably going to subscribe to digital cable with HBO and Hi-Def.  I am getting giddy just thinking about it.
Anyway, you are going to have to check it out.  My place is going to be so pimp next year.  That’s right.  So pimp.
