Spring Break Finally Up!

Saturday, March 31st, 2007

In a desperate attempt to avoid doing research for my paper outline due Tuesday for Antitrust, I’ve finally put up all my Spring Break pictures in the photo gallery!  Enjoy.

The HO

Sunday, March 25th, 2007

Not much to say.  We went to Dr. Ho’s Humble Pie tonight.  Good times - reminds me of Diane, who was the one who introduced me to that pizza delight.  It was interesting though.  it’s a 10-15 minute drive out of Charlottesville.  It’s not well advertised.  And yet during our short visit, we ran into another law student AND ran into the head of student Law ITC services.  WHAT are the odds?  Sheesh.  It’s like we can’t get away from each other!  That is all.  You should all go to the Ho if you ever get a chance.  Better than Crozet (no, I’ve never been).

JT Pics up

Pictures from the Justin Timberlake concert are now up.  Despite the big NO CAMERAS ALLOWED written on the ticket, despite their checking us when we walk in, and despite my getting yelled at for taking a picture, I managed to take 130 pictures of Pink and Justin (I don’t think I got any of Timbaland!).  Enjoy!

Sad. Then in awe.

Well, it was a roller coaster weekend. Virginia lost by a mere 3 points, 77-74, to Tennessee. We could have won that game. We should have won that game. But alas. So it goes.

These are the two saddest pictures I have ever seen, I think. Cheer up, buddy. There’s always next year. Plus, my man-crush on you grows by the day.

Singletary face down on the floor
Singletary being sad

Awww. Really breaks your heart.

On the plus side, Tech lost by 15. That brings me some joy. Finally, the JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE concert at the John Paul Jones Arena was AWESOME. Pictures will go up in the next day or two, but it was a great time.  MAN I wish I could dance like that man!  I’m getting close, though…I think.

“Who saw this coming?!”

Sunday, March 18th, 2007

GAMEDAY.  I’ve been hearing a lot recently, “Whoa, not only is Virginia in the tournament, but they actually won their first round game also!  Who saw this coming?!”  I did.  I’m putting that out there now.  In fact, I called it in my journal earlier this season (January 5).  That’s all I have to say.  Big day today - HOOS take on the Vols to make the Sweet Sixteen.  Let’s go, Cavs!

Also, Justin Timberlake concert tonight.  AND I get to see Quentin, my RA roommate from undergrad!  Stoked!

I *still* know

I swear, my pictures are going online soon. Apparently when you don’t do any schoolwork over Spring Break, you come back overwhelmed and exhausted.  I’ve spent all of this past week trying to keep up with the reading - I’m not exactly sure why I’m trying to do that as a 2L…guilt, I suppose.

I’ve also been trying to get cracking on this research paper for my Antitrust Review of Mergers class.  I really want to spend some time on this paper and really get it polished, because I do actually love antitrust.  Unfortunately, I have nothing inspirational to write.  If you have ideas, please pass them my way such that I can claim them as my own.  That’s allowed, right?
Anyway, rather than being diligent, I’m gonna go play some board games now.

I know

I know that I am overdue on an update here.  I promise that I have tons to update you on re: Spring Break (or at least a list of random thoughts to post).  I also have 380+ pictures to put up.  It’ll take a while.  Bear with me here.  How bout them #4 Hoos?

Hit the clutch…
