Last night could not have been better in any way whatsoever. For one, I won the SBA President election that I had been a nervous wreck for the past two weeks. Once I got the email confirming that (4:57 PM - February 6, 2007), I couldn’t pay attention in class anymore (Yes, a 4:30-6:30 Antitrust Review of Mergers class, whoo!). It took all the willpower I had to keep the giddy down.

As my first act as president, I think I will be establishing a “Take an SBA President Out to Lunch” fund. This, of course, is not because I want to spend the SBA budget on myself, but because I think it is a great opportunity to um, get to know my fellow students and um, to hear their concerns on a more intimate setting. I hope you all are behind me in this endeavor. However, I’ll make note not to follow this guy at Northwestern.

Second, and equally exciting, VIRGINIA beat MARYLAND last night, making us #1 in the ACC Standings - UNCONTESTED! UVA Cavaliers, baby - 8-2 in the ACC! Like whoa!
