Camera woes
Sunday, February 4th, 2007Well, I think I am turning into Ericka Alonso. Over the past 4 days, I have taken approximately 400 pictures. This, I believe, is out of control. Entirely. Good thing for you - this means there are a ton of pictures in the Photo Album for you to peruse. As a tip, at the bottom of each album is a “View as slideshow” link. That’s probably the best way to look at the pictures if you plan on looking at all of them, since then you don’t have to scroll down each time (I know the header of this website is big).
On the bad side, I think my camera is starting to die. I tried to take lots of pictures at the Kegs & Eggs “party” today…if one can call it a party. It entailed lots of standing around watching flag football action. I unfortunately missed the actual chili, but I think I more than made up for it by witnessing (and being an official counter for) the Sorkin/Wolk Saltine Eating Contest. If you’ve read the Feb Club Blog, you know that it ended up in a 16-cracker tie. However, it could be debated that Wolk spit out at least half a cracker’s worth during his uncontrollable fits of laughter. Dare I say that Sorkin won, 16 crackers to 15.5 crackers. Feb Club Style hit the nail right on the head — the only thing I will remember about this party, aside from the saltines, is how cold it was standing outside. Even with beer in my system. Brr.
Right. Back to the camera. I don’t know if it’s the memory stick or if it’s the camera (hopefully just the former), but most of my pictures of today did not come out. I have a couple there, and will post that once I get my act together. Otherwise, the rest of Feb Club (and the awesome victory over Miami) are already online.

Big things to write here. First off, I know that my last few entries have all been about UVA Hoops. I do not apologize for that. Why? Because VIRGINIA just beat Miami tonight (81-70) to get our SIXTH straight ACC win (this has not happened in well over a decade)! With that, Virginia moves into a tie for FIRST PLACE in the ACC along with Boston College and North Carolina. How AWESOME is that?
