I even saw a horse this year! Not only did I see it, I was able to document it. So I’m pretty happy about it this year. I had more bourbon and gingers than I think my body wanted me to, but my body, like the trooper that it is, manned up to the occasion. It was good times. I’m now desperately trying to get my act together so I can continue reading 1L memos. What a treat. In any event, pictures are up in the album!

PS. Notre Dame - Michigan State. What a finish!! 40-37.

Karate. Or Dumplings.

So I’m sitting here on a Saturday night in the Caplin Reading Room of Scott Commons (ScoCo for short. Do you think we can make that nickname stick? ScoCo.), and I look around and there’s no one here except for me, 3 other Asians, and of course Donald. Then, another Asian came in. I feel like Donald and I then proceeded to have a really deep conversation.

Me: i don’t understand where all these asians come from
Me: i mean, i understand biologically where they come from
Me: but i feel like at some point past midnight, they come in flocks
Me: er, i guess we come in flocks
Donald: my theory
Donald: is u-heights
Me: and it took them all day to hike it over here?
Donald: word on the street is that asians reside there in heavy numbers
Donald: asians work hard
Donald: late at night
Donald: you guys are hard workers
Me: but where were they during the day??
Donald: karate
Me: making dumplings, i’m sure
Me: ah, or karate. i forgot about that.
